Affinché accada una scelta deve sorgere un’attività nella mente, come dialogo interiore di parole. Si può presumere che ci sia qualcuno che metta insieme queste parole, ma quando si esamina più da vicino la cosa si vedrà che le parole, che sono semplicemente azioni che sorgono nella coscienza, stanno solo apparendo e sono osservate come presenti dal ‘me’ solo DOPO che sono apparse. Chiaramente allora il ‘me’ è non il produttore di questi pensieri, ma in sé è solo un altro pensiero che sorge dopo l’iniziale pensiero e rivendica come quel pensiero sia stato prodotto dal ‘me’. Quando si riconosce con chiarezza il pensiero del ‘me’ esso è visto semplicemente come un pensiero.
Dato che tutti i processi decisionali comportano un pensare e dato che tutto il pensiero è involontario – in quanto ogni pensiero sorge senza essere pre-pianificato da nessuno – ogni scelta o decisione viene fatta come un’azione che sorge nella coscienza di cui non c’è nessun controllore.
Persino il pensiero “Io penso” o “Io sono il pensatore, il produttore di questi pensieri” semplicemente sorge e non è in realtà prodotto da qualcuno o un qualcosa chiamato ‘Io’ o ‘me’.
Questo desiderio di rendere il ‘me’ il controllore di ciò che sorge come pensiero viene quando si immagina che ci sia un ‘me’ come il pensatore dei pensieri, mentre quando si indaga si vedrà che c’è pensare ma nessun pensatore. C’è fare, ma non c’è nessun agente. Questo desiderio che sorge è anch’esso semplicemente un’azione della coscienza, anch’essa impersonale. Non esiste infatti alcun desiderio personale, dato che tutti i desideri sorgono impersonalmente, poiché la cosiddetta persona è una credenza e niente di più, ancora una volta è solo un pensiero che sorge.
Quando questo fatto comincia a essere ovvio l’immaginario controllore inizia a perdere di vista se stesso ogni tanto, mentre la realizzazione che non c’è che nessun controllore personale incaricato di nulla comincia a prendere il sopravvento e l’immaginario autore delle azioni si dissolve.
Questo può essere un periodo strano, perché a quel punto si vede che non c’è nessun produttore di quello che sorge come esperienza del corpo/mente ed eppure questa comprensione non si è ancora pienamente affermata e così ogni tanto il ‘me’, l’immaginario controllore, ritorna in gioco come abitudine. Alla fine la rivendicazione di ciò che è fatto semplicemente si dissolve nel nulla, lo stesso nulla da cui tutti i pensieri assieme a tutto il resto sorgono.
Quindi ciò che rimane è il vedere, fatto da nessuno, che tutte le azioni sorgono, siano esse l’azione di un pensiero o di una sensazione o di una azione fisica che avviene spontaneamente. Non c’è nessun piano preventivo, nessun destino, nessuno scopo o ragione per quello che sta avvenendo, tutto sta accadendo semplicemente a nessuno.
Ciò che vede quello che sta accadendo è il nulla. Questo nulla è immobile ed eterno e quando un’attività accade in esso allora è immediatamente riflessa su questa atemporalità inattiva come un’attività del tempo e quindi riconosciuta accadere.
Non c’è nessuno, nessuna persona, che veda il sorgere le azioni. Esse sono in verità testimoniate non da una persona come immaginato in precedenza, ma dalla stessa costante consapevolezza senza tempo ovunque e ogni volta che esse si presentino.
Questo è sempre il caso, anche quando si immagina che ci sia un qualcosa o qualcuno che veda ciò che sta avvenendo. In questo modo, quando l’illuminazione accade e l’individuo immaginario si è dissolto in un chiaro vedere, tutto ciò che è realmente differente è che il ‘me’ non è più presente a ciò che avviene, sostenendo che quel che accade sia un risultato della sua stessa presenza. Le cose continuano a succedere come fenomeni che sorgono, ma non esiste più il concetto che qualcuno stia facendo qualcosa o che stia accadendo a qualcuno.

When we are born the sense of separation between the body and whatever surrounds it is not present, then after a few years the identity arises and everyone around you will confirm to you that you are a real person, with free will and choice, that you have to work hard to become worthy, satisfied… you have to make your life work. A feeling of contraction is present and it becomes the centre by which all thoughts, emotions and actions seems to arise from.You are now someone and life is happening to you, you have to defend yourself with threats, you seek pleasure and avoid pain. You really believe that you can do all of these things. We become seekers, looking for something that can fullfill a subtle dissatisfaction, a subtle but deep sense of lack. What this message describes is that the belief of having an identity, a separate me amongst separate others in a separate world is an illusion. There is no one and there never was. Everything just happens and there is no one ever in control of anything.
There is no one right now reading this even if something there is strongly convinced that this is not the case. There is just THIS and it is NOTHING appearing as THIS. This cannot be understood or grasped by the me, but something can resonate there as this is the real nature of what is. In THIS ALL-NESS everything can arise, even the sense that separation is real, and that sense can fall away. There is no need or cause for that to happen. The illusion can remain until death or it can collapse right now.
When this is seen (by no-one) it becomes clear that what we were longing for all along has never gone away. There is just everything and nothing. THIS is pure joy, love and freedom.
Emotions, thoughts, feelings can still arise then in This, but they are not owned by a separate someone. There is no personal suffering any-more, there is just a flow of energy.
The seeing of THIS is not an experience that you can make happen by doing, because in this seeing you won’t be there. THIS does not belong to anyone.
The seeing of THIS, the so called awakening, liberation or enlightenment, can or cannot happen. There is no direction or purpose in LIFE. There is no-one there that can do anything about it. Even when an imagined you feels hopeless and helpless there is only hopelessness and helplessness happening.
